This is full-time clinical education experience designed to integrate all the academic knowledge gained to this point in the DPT curriculum as well as incorporate any previous clinical experience to continue to progress students towards being an entry-level physical therapist. The facilities utilized for this clinical education experience will focus on inpatient settings appropriate for the delivery of physical therapy patient care of any age group and any setting. An inpatient setting will be prioritized but is not guaranteed for this course. To accomplish this, students will participate in direct patient care and exhibit knowledge, skills and behaviors to effectively evaluate and treat patients.
